Golf athletes from across Texas will compete in individual stroke play competition at the 2026 Games of Texas.
Dates: July 30-31
Location: The City Course at The Phillips Event Center, 1929 Country Club Dr., Bryan, Texas
Registration: April 6-July 26 at 5 p.m.
Entry fee: $30 for 9-hole divisions; $55 for 18-hole divisions
Competition will feature boys and girls divisions across multiple age groups. Nine-hole divisions include boys and girls ages 7-9 and 10-11, along with girls ages 12-13. Eighteen-hole divisions include boys ages 12-13 and boys and girls ages 14-15 and 16-18.
The tournament format consists of two rounds of individual stroke play. A nine-stroke limit will be in effect, and all scorecards must be signed, attested and dated to be considered official.
Schedule:
• Thursday, July 30: Check-in opens at 6 a.m.; 9-hole tee times begin at 7:15 a.m.; 18-hole tee times begin at 7:45 a.m.; Day 2 pairings and tee times posted at 5 p.m.
• Friday, July 31: Check-in opens at 6 a.m.; 9-hole tee times begin at 7:15 a.m.; 18-hole tee times begin at 7:45 a.m.
Practice rounds may be scheduled beginning July 27 for registered athletes by calling 979-776-0133. Special athlete rates are available. Spectator carts may be rented for $30 per cart for 18 holes or $15 per cart for 9 holes.
Amenities include an on-site practice facility, pro shop, restrooms and restaurant. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Water stations will be available for players and caddies. Free parking is available on site. Overnight parking and RV parking are not permitted.
