During this special museum tour, our in-house gaming experts will guide you through the history of video games from the seventies to the modern day.
Video games have progressed from simple black and white pixelated play to immersive epics that rival any blockbuster movie. But how did this happen?
What did Nintendo make before Mario, and who was their real competitor in Japan?
This tour lasts around 45 minutes, and provides an opportunity to discuss and even argue the merits and weaknesses of your favourite consoles and games! Museum staff will be on hand after the tour and you might get to play your favourite games!
The tour is free (although museum entry charges apply - £12 for adults, £8 for children, £10 for concessions and students, £23.50 for a family ticket of one adult and two children, £17 for 1 adult and 1 child, and £34 for a family ticket of two adults and two children).
