Checkmate! Whether you’re sharpening you skills or learning for the first time, come enjoy the classic game of chess!Librarian Connor has the opportunity for young players to encounter chess- whether you've never played or know all about it and want new techniques and strategies. No registration is required, and if you have any questions, please call us at (501)758-1720 and ask for the Children's department!
While we have more than one chess set, space is limited and therefore play may be rotational. While all hopeful players are welcome, our chess program is more likely to be enjoyed by upper elementary and middle school students.
