Game Knight will host our third annual Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament on March 8th-9th in cooperation with the International Tournament Circuit! Information about the ITC may be found here: https://www.frontlinegaming.org/community/frontline-gamings-independent-tournament-circuit/
Format:
-$50.00 entry fee. $35.00 of the proceeds from the entry fee will be used to fund store credit prize support, and the remainder will be used to provide pizza for the players and cover table rental and physical prizes. Store credit prize support will depend on the number of attendees, but at minimum there will be store credit awards for first, second, and third places in gameplay and for Best Painted.
-The tournament will be played in five rounds of three hours each using Swiss pairings.
-All rounds will be played using 2000 point lists. Lists are due to Game Knight via upload to Best Coast Pairings, Facebook message, or e-mail by March 1st to permit vetting.
-No rules released after February 22nd (Codices, datasheets in new model releases, etc.) will be permitted in the tournament, to ensure all players and the organizers have time to familiarize themselves with the rules.
-The tournament will adhere to the latest FAQs for the game; these may be found here: https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-us/downloads/warhammer-40000/
-Updated points costs, matched play mission rules, and faction rules in current Games Workshop publications are in force.
-Matched play rules are in force. Armies must adhere to the army construction rules laid out beginning on page 55 of the Core Rules of the game.
-Painting and basing your models is highly encouraged, but we do not remove eligibility for prize support for not doing so. However, What You See Is What You Get to a reasonable standard is required, and a fully painted army is worth ten Victory Points per round as defined in the rules for Pariah Nexus games.
-We adhere to the ITC Code of Conduct, found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1psolxaWoBvOFBlJW9sKvlInCiVY0b-Q3_UIyvS-wBWM/edit Repeated incidents of poor sportsmanship, defined as being verbally abusive, physically aggressive, more than 15 minutes late for a round, or knowingly cheating on a rule, will result in sanctions up to and including ejection from the tournament.
Schedule: Doors open at 9:00am Eastern Daylight Time for registration and check-in. Dice drop no later than 10:00, or earlier if we're organized and the tables are full before then. The shop nominally closes at 6:00, so we must adhere as closely as possible to the schedule, and if all games in a round complete early the next round may start early with no less than the allotted break time between the end of the last game and start of the next round.

Again, Daylight Saving Time starts on this weekend, so Saturday times are standard time and Sunday times are Daylight time. Please subtract one hour if you are coming from the Central time zone (for instance, doors open at 8:00am, and first round starts at 9:00).
