Game Design Microsoft Arcade
About this Event
Game Design with Microsoft Arcade
Ages 6–12
In Game Design with Microsoft Arcade, students become young game designers, programmers, and digital creators as they build their own interactive video games using Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. Through fun, hands-on activities and step-by-step tutorials, participants will learn the principles of video game design while creating arcade-style games.
Students will learn block coding to design characters, create game worlds, program player movement, add challenges, include sound effects, and build interactive game mechanics.
