Looking for a challenge for 2026...... Come join us and the team from Galway Cycle for an epic event and help to raise funds for The Gavin Glynn Foundation
Now in it’s 39th year, this year’s Galway Cycle takes place on the 10th of April 2026.
Cyclists take on the challenge of cycling from Maynooth to Galway – and back, a distance of nearly 400km!
How long is the cycle, and do I need to be able to cycle the full distance?
The cycle is 200km each way, departing Friday and returning Sunday. The journey involves approximately 8 hours of cycling per day, but with breaks, it amounts to about 11 hours each day.
