Before it was The Bryan Museum, the building that now houses it, operated as an orphanage for almost 90 years. Museum Curator, Eric Broussard, has extensively researched the history of the Galveston Orphan’s Home from existing records and interviews with former residents.
The lecture will provide a timeline of the orphanage’s operations and information about some of the people who lived and worked there.
