Galveston-area Business Owners: Let's Build a Support System
Running a business can be lonely — even when things are going well. You're making decisions all day with no one who really gets it to talk them through with.
This meetup is an attempt to fix that. It's not about collecting business cards and moving on to the next person — it's about actually getting to know the other people building something in this town, trading the stuff nobody else understands (the wins, the stress, the "is this normal?" moments), and starting to have each other's backs.
And there's a bigger piece to it too: Galveston's small business community gets stronger when the people running it actually know and support each other. A room full of local owners looking out for one another isn't just good for us individually — it's good for the town.
We don't fully know yet what this group becomes — a regular meetup, a small mastermind, something else entirely. That's kind of the point of this first one: we'll figure it out together based on who shows up and what people actually need. So come with an open mind and let's get to know each other.
