We will leave at 5:30 pm from the Graduate Hotel, and return to the Graduate around 7:40 pm.This will be led by Gallery Night Guide Larisa Martino.
This is a walking tour, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather! We will visit the following locations and exhibits:
AS220 Empire Street Galleries, Please Do Not Touch challenges traditional exhibition formats by removing the expected focal point, placing emphasis instead on the architectural structures of display.
Project Space Gallery, an extension of AS220’s artist-run mission, offering an unjuried, uncensored platform for artists working across mediums and scale.
Haus of Codec, a community-centered gallery uplifting New England artists through exhibitions, markets, and accessible opportunities for creative growth.
And there will be lots of beautiful public art to enjoy along the way!
Spots on this tour are available to reserve in advance here on Givebutter. We ask that you donate when you check out, for the convenience of reserving your spot on the tour of your choice ahead of time. Your donations help make what we do possible!
We also welcome walk-ups (first-come, first-served), to anyone who shows up on Gallery Night!
Accessibility notes:
Many of the Gallery Night art spaces are wheelchair accessible. However, the trolleys we hire for Gallery Night cannot accommodate wheelchairs. All tours involve some walking and some stops may include stairs. We welcome self-guided tours too! Please see Our Galleries page for additional information. Some notes to help you out the night of the event!
We recommend arriving to the Graduate Hotel or WaterFire Arts Center 15 minutes before your tour time. One of our volunteers will be inside with a Gallery Night banner, near the main entrance, and will check you in and answer any questions! We do have a limited number of seats on the tour! If your plans change, please remember to cancel your Givebutter reservation so that someone else can enjoy the tour. Tours occasionally run late depending on traffic. We recommend allowing buffer time if you're planning on attending another event after ours. We have other guided tours the same night!
