What’s a girl to do when a meddling god wants to K*ll her for being beautiful? Escape to the woods disguised as a boy, of course. But what happens when someone else has the same idea? And she’s really pretty…or maybe, handsome? Hijinks and queer chaos ensue in John Lyly’s GALLATHEA, an Elizabethan masterpiece that inspired some of Shakespeare’s greatest hits. The very Queer 1588 script is reimagined by Allie Fireel and three witches shakespeare as a summer camp in 1987.
