Despite having shared history spanning over a decade, this star-studded lineup is only recently appearing more often as a fixed jazz trio. We obviously cannot seem to get our fill, this being already the second time this year that we invite them to perform.
For the uninitiated: the all-Maltese group have come upon their own brand of boundary-pushing straight ahead jazz mixed with evocative original pieces, and we have learned to expect nothing less from such a constellation of heavy cats. Good things come in threes, but at Offbeat they come in trios.
