Cori Bush is a politician, nurse, minister, and Black Lives Activist. She served St. Louis City & north St. Louis County as US representative for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District, 2021-2025. She was a member of “The Squad” in the House, along with other women of color – Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (NY), Rashida Tlaib (MI), Ilhan Omar (MN), Ayanna Pressley (MA). She was one of the first representatives to call for a Ceasefire after October 7, 2023, and an ardent supporter of Palestinian political and human rights. Cori and former Rep. Jamaal Bowman (NY), another Squad member, host a monthly show on Zeteo, “Bowman and Bush.” Both lost their seats in Congress last year when pro-Zionist lobbying groups from all across the country spent large amounts of money to defeat them in their primaries.
