Gainesville Fruitluck

The Gainesville Fruitluck is back - this time it's the fall version! We'll be gathering and sharing fruit this coming Sunday, Oct 25 12-3, at Greentree Park in Gainesville.
A fruitluck is a potluck where everyone brings fruit to share. It can be ANY fruit, whether it's from your yard, the farmers market, foraged from the wild, or grown far away and purchased from a store. Let's all gather and celebrate the bountiful production of fruit trees from different climate zones and regions of the globe, as we share conversation with other fruit lovers.
The main focus here is fruit, whole and unprocessed, but if you want to make a fruit-based concoction, that's great too. Right now is the peak of persimmon season - let's celebrate this wonderful fruit. What kind of persimmon based dishes can you make? (this is a vegan friendly event, so please make sure any fruit-based dishes are free of animal products).
The event is at Greentree Park in Gainesville. There is free parking available, but if you live locally you could save fossil fuels get some exercise and fresh air and ride your bike there.
This event is kid friendly. Children like fruit as much as adults, so feel free to bring your little ones – this is a chance to broaden their food horizons. There's a playground on site. (this is a public park, you'll want to supervise children as at any public location.)
Dogs are welcome at Greentree Park on a leash. There is no charge. Just bring fruit.
