Come out to Gahagan Nature Preserve on Saturday July 11th from 7:00 am–10:00 am for a tour to see Kirtland’s Warblers and their jack pine ecosystem home. We will start out with a short video, then carpool 12 miles out to the tour site where a guide with over 30 years of experience in Kirtland’s Warbler recovery will help you see and hear Kirtland’s Warblers and other species in the jack pine ecosystem. We will park along a hard packed sandy road, then walk the road looking and listening for Kirtland’s and other species such as hermit thrushes, common flickers, brown thrashers, and vesper sparrows. Out of respect for the bird and its well-being, our guide will not provide special accommodation for professional photographers. Cost is $10 per person
