The Great Australian Beer Spectacular (GABS) festival is Australia’s largest and longest running craft beer festival. The centerpiece of the events are the one thousand two hundred fresh kegs, from 120 different breweries across Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA, of exciting, never seen before NEW brews just waiting to be tapped for the first time! For the fifth time GABS is coming to Brisbane and this time, over two days!To get you ready for a big two days of GABS we are cooking a pig. The GABS PIG. On Friday night for GABS Pink Party we’ll be dishing up some slow smoked pulled pork and on Saturday before the morning session fuel up with a bacon and egg baguette. The bacon is from the same pig cured, smoked and sliced thick in house! You can’t fuel up without a brew so we’ll throw in a schooner of 27 South Sunsets Vietnamese Lager or Parks American Pale Ale.
There is only so much pig to go around, so we encourage you to pre-purchase your baguettes and get in early. We'll have the Pink Party Pulled Pork available from 4:00pm on Friday June 14. For the early birds on Saturday June 15, the Brewers Breakfast will kick off from 10:00am.
-Friday June 15 4:00pm to 6:00pm: PINK PARTY PULLED PORK - smoked pulled pork with barbeque sauce on a fresh baguette and a schooner of 27 South American Pale or Vietnamese Lager $20 pre-purchased or $25 on the day.
-Saturday June 16 10:00am to 12:00pm: BREWERS BREAKFAST - fried thick cut, house cured and smoked bacon with fried eggs on a baguette and a schooner of 27 South American Pale or Vietnamese Lager $20 pre-purchased or $25 on the day.
