Also on this day we are introducing the new Mikkeller Walking Club.
Mikkeller Walking Club (MWC) is a new addition to Mikkeller’s sports clubs.
With the rising popularity of race walking, MWC aims to combine exercise and socializing - just like MRC and MCC - through the simple concept: workout followed by beer.
In collaboration with the very experienced running and walking coach, Claus Hechmann, MWC hopes to have developed a simple and fun approach to the sport.
MWC is for everyone who wants to use walking as exercise or competition, and at the same time the most effective alternative training compared to running.
Injury preventive and gentle, as well as optimal fitness and endurance training.
The club’s first training - or introduction, if you will - takes place during the monthly Saturday training with Mikkeller Running Club in Copenhagen, where you can choose to walk with Claus Hechmann and receive technical guidance for brisk walking.
