We are happy to announce this one-off event where the team at FUZZYHEAD will showcase 2 upcoming projects slated to be released later this year: THE COMMONPLACE & FOLK. This event will also hold Q&A Panels followed by In-Conversation talks with the cast and crew of FOLK.

THE COMMONPLACE [15]:

Synopsis: Caleb, a fledgling vampire, moves to a new city in hopes of change. After being scouted by a stranger, he takes a trip to 'The Commonplace'; a self-help group for mythical creatures.

Written and Directed by CAMERON SUMMERS & FINLAY CRONSHAW-HARDY

Produced by CALLUM BENTLEY

Executive Produced by FINLAY CRONSHAW-HARDY & CAMERON SUMMERS

Cast: STANLEY GORDON, MAISY BATES, RUSSELL PARRY, ALEX MCCARAGHER, JACK CHORLEY & MIA MANCINI-BREWSTER.

FOLK [18]:

Synopsis: Set against a backdrop of ancient traditions, haunting landscapes, and buried grief, FOLK is a tense and intimate folk-horror that explores queer vulnerability, coercion, and the seductive pull of chosen family. As Levi confronts his own loneliness and longing, he must reckon with the line between hospitality and entrapment – and ask himself what he’s truly willing to give up in order to feel wanted.

Written and Directed by CAMERON SUMMERS

Produced by FINLAY CRONSHAW-HARDY

Executive Produced by GAGE OXLEY for OXYGEN FILMS

Cast: LUKE PIERCE POWELL, CHARLOTTE OAKLEY, BEN WORTH & CHRISTINA NG

Following the screenings, a panel will be hosted by Executive Producer of FOLK & OXYGEN FILMS founder GAGE OXLEY.

Recording during the screening is NOT permitted; cameras will be present during the event for company promotion.

We look forward to seeing you!
