The Primitives are a British indie pop band formed in Coventry in 1985, known for their 1988 hit "Crash". The original lineup included vocalist Kieron McDermott, guitarist Paul Court, bassist Steve Dullaghan, and drummer Pete Tweedie, but the band is most associated with the lineup that features vocalist Tracy Tracy after she replaced McDermott early in the band's career
