Future Tech Leaders: Next Play — Sports & Tech Experience for Youth

Presented by Future Tech Leaders, a 501(c)(3) youth tech nonprofit based in Atlanta, Next Play™: Sports + Technology Experience is a fun, hands-on event where students explore how sports and technology come together through interactive, real-world learning experiences.
Designed for students ages 6–18, this one-day experience introduces youth to how technology is used in sports through engaging activities, challenges, and creative problem-solving in a high-energy environment.
Students will:
- Explore how technology is used in sports performance and fan experiences
- Participate in hands-on data and design challenges
- Create ideas for apps, dashboards, and fan experience tools
- Engage with interactive demo stations and a live speaker panel
We are also excited to have engagement from organizations including the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Fanatics, and others, helping expose students to real-world opportunities in sports and technology.
This experience is designed to be fun, interactive, and accessible for all students—whether they are new to technology or already interested in STEM and sports.
