Jennifer is a strong supporter of co-operatives and what they can do for our communities. She is an advocate for, a promoter of, and connector within the co-operative movement.
She began her co-operative career with OCA in 2009 as the Office Coordinator, where she supported the core administrative and financial functions of the organization. From 2016 to 2022, Jennifer held the role of Member Relations Manager, building strong relationships with members and other key stakeholders while also supporting the organization with co-operative development, governance, legislation, and advocacy work. She assumed the role of Executive Director in the fall of 2022.
Jennifer is a graduate of the Fundamentals of Co-operative Organizations Program from the Schulich School of Business, pursued a post-secondary education in the non-profit sector, and graduated from the Non-Profit Management Program at Sheridan College. She has worked in administrative roles for a number of different non-profits both locally and internationally, and feels fortunate that her career has led her to the co-operative sector.
