Future Leaders in Public Service

An intensive, 2 day leadership development course for aspiring or current first line supervisors in public service/government organizations.
About this Event

This course provides students with the opportunity to spend two days with a public service veteran who successfully navigated several formal supervisory and leadership roles in the two most populous and

politically challenging states in the country: Texas and California. This course will cover the following topics in three main areas:

DAY 1 (Leadership Skills)

· Leadership credibility, trust, and authenticity

· Adaptive leadership and change management

· Servant leadership and autonomy

· Situational leadership and Authentic leadership

Day 2 (Self Discovery and Management)

· Emotional intelligence

· Organizational discipline and accountability
