About this Event
The “Futures for Producers” program is designed to provide students (ages 8-25) with a holistic learning experience in both hands-on trades and digital media production. Through this dual-track approach, students will gain critical real-world skills in areas like basic mechanics, carpentry, barbering, healthcare, teaching, and more. Simultaneously, they will learn the fundamentals of media production, including video editing, sound design, branding, and marketing.
The program aims to develop well-rounded young leaders capable of bridging physical craftsmanship with modern media to produce impactful community narratives.
Target Audience: • Age Range: 8-25 years
• Class Size: 10-15 students per class
• Class Frequency: One 2-3 hour session per week, over the course of 3 months
• Program Format: Hands-on workshops, real-world production, and community engagement activities Program Structure & Curriculum Modules The curriculum is divided into two main tracks:
1. Trade Skills Development
2. Media Production and Marketing
Each track is designed to equip students with practical, hands-on skills that are applicable both within specific fields and across various industries, with a focus on community engagement and real-world impact.
