Ellie has a unique way of using pressure and release in its lightest
form and combining with positive reinforcement (clicker training)
to develop a willing and motivated horse.
You will learn how to introduce positive reinforcement without creating a horse that mugs you and how to use pressure and release without feeling like you are needing to be constantly adding more pressure.
Ellie will teach you the basics then put the principals into practice
with challenges and tasks throughout the day
Day 1:
We start day one on the ground understanding the principals of how horses learn, reading body language and how to reinforce what we would like to see more of. Ellie teaches you how to manage your own body to communicate effectively with your horse.
Day 2:
For those that are ready, day two will be in the saddle (or do everything from the ground if you would prefer) and we will test what we have learnt on day one with some obstacle challenges.
