We are excited to announce our next fusion foundations series! If you took our previous series or if you are new to fusion and wanting to give it a try, this series is for you!
Dates: This series will involve 5 classes spread out over 8 weeks. Our first class is on Tuesday, September 9th and the subsequent classes will be on the following dates: 9/23, 9/30, 10/14, and 10/28. We will post an event for each lesson as we go and send reminders in the community chat.
Information:
This will be a developing series meaning that each class will add on to what was learned the previous class. Each lesson will be an hour in length and will cover a wide variety of topics including musicality, connection, and techniques/moves from various dance styles. If you were a part of our last series the focus of these classes will be on progressive and momentum movements.
Social:
Although there is no social dance after the classes, We will be going out to the Blue Note Grill in downtown Durham for their weekly blues jam after each class. Feel free to join us for some great live music, food & drink if you want, and a chance to practice what you have learned.
Cost:
$40 for the whole series if you sign up ahead of time or $10 for each individual class you would like to attend. We encourage everyone who wants to come to commit to the whole series but also understand that things come up. To sign up just venmo @raleighdurhamfusion with your name and "fusion foundations"
Location:
All classes will take place in the dogwood room (downstairs room) at the DFM which is different from the room we usually dance in. If you have never been to the DFM more parking information will be posted closer to the event date.
