About this Event
Description:
What is fused glass? It is the process of combining compatible pieces of glass by stacking/placing them in a design and heating them in a kiln where they fuse together. Glass pieces are typically bright, sparkly and colorful. A person can make different types of projects such as table top pieces, hangers and functional (dishes). Molly will teach you how to cut glass, design your piece and the different effects that fusing can produce. She will also provide the needed tools & supplies, support and kiln time. Come to class with an idea of what you would like to make and have fun seeing how they come together.
Note: CLASS IS AT TEACHER'S LAFAYETTE HOME STUDIO, 825 Cimarron Drive, Lafayette. There is a cat on the premises and the studio is down one flight of stairs.
