BEGINNING OIL PAINTING - Fridays,2:00-4:00pm ,January 3,17,24,31

This class is designed to give the beginning oil painter the basic skills necessary to begin their painting journey. You will learn about the various supplies and techniques used by oil painters, and be able to hone in on the ones you would like to use, as well as the ones most necessary for all painters. You will practice both painting from life, as well as from a photo reference, and learn the basics of the visual language needed to create a work of art.

Bring to class: A supply list will be given out on the first day of class. All supplies needed for the first day are provided, but you are welcome to bring any supplies that you currently have. You will need to bring in your own supplies for the remaining 3 weeks.
