Design and create your own fused glass nightlight or sun catcher using colorful pieces of glass arranged on a rectangular base. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to safely use basic glass tools to cut and shape glass while exploring different colors, textures, and layering techniques. Arrange your pieces into a pattern, abstract design, or simple image to make a one-of-a-kind creation. After class, your design will be fired in a kiln, fusing the glass together into a single, durable piece. Nightlights will be mounted to a base with a brass clip and include an on/off switch, while sun catchers will be finished for easy hanging. No prior experience is needed, just bring your creativity!
