Fusebox Festival and The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired present The Semi-Modulars!Doors at 6:30 p.m. - Performance at 7:00 p.m.
All ages welcome.
The Semi-Modulars is an electronic music ensemble exclusively made up of students in the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired’s synthesis and sound design class. Throughout each academic year the class writes and records an album’s worth of original material using a variety of analog and digital synthesizers, drum machines and samplers. Each spring they perform these compositions live for the community at various venues around Austin. Following a year of increased media attention including a feature in Texas Monthly magazine and a PBS documentary entitled “School of Synth”, their performance as part of the 2026 Fusebox Festival will be the debut of selections from their forthcoming album, “Free Synthesizer.”
