Come to storytime to enjoy stories, songs, and fingerplays about Furry Friends, including a chance to meet an adoptable animal or two afterward, thanks to the ARL. Storytime during the school year is geared to 2-4 year olds, but any age child (from babies to primary school-aged) is welcome. Storytime families are invited to to play afterwards in the Blue Room, for those who'd like to stay. Storytime is free and does not require pre-registration for families or groups with fewer than 8 kids. Larger daycares and preschools should call the youth desk at 641-754-5738, ext. 3 to check for options.
