FUPA FANTASTIC - Fat walk club

Join FUPA FANTASTIC on monthly walks in the North East where people living in bigger bodies can walk and enjoy nature together. Starting with the lovely Jesmond Dene.

Route and meeting point to be confirmed, but I can definately confirm there will be coffee and cake after for those who wish to partake.

Please ensure you book a ticket so we know to wait for you before we set off.

Friendly Dogs welcome! Please be sensible and keep your dog under control at all times, some people may not like dogs as much as others so it is a good idea to keep them on lead. Dogs must also be tollerant of walking close to other on lead dogs.

The route is roughly 2 miles (3.3km) nobody gets left behind and if anyone needs to take rest we will wait. We try to hit a pace that is good for everyone.

We will be walking in all weathers so preparation for rain, wind and staying warm will be essential throughout Autumn & Winter. You will not need hiking boots as there is a tarmac and gravel path however something waterproof and supportive is a good idea.

Finally in the FUPA FANTASTIC community we do not tolerate toxic diet culture or fatphobia of any kind, pleae be mindful of how you engage with others. We also are an LGBTQ-friendly community and we do not tolerate hate speech of any kind towards any minority or marginalised community.
