What began as a way to work with her friends has exploded on the comedy scene. Funny Women Of A Certain Age or WOACA was created to give older women comics a chance to be seen and heard. Frustrated with how women are portrayed on television once they hit 50, Carole decided to do something about it. She’s fighting ageism AND sexism one joke at a time. The women who appear in WOACA are all funny, vibrant and brilliant, they just happen to be of a certain age. These women paved the way for the female comics you see today. Funny Women of a Certain Age was Showtime's highest rated comedy special of 2019 and made television history as the first special to feature 6 female comics over the age of 50. The live tour features a rotating cast of top-notch comedians including women from the TV specials when their schedule permits.

Carole Montgomery has had a long and varied career. With over two dozen television credits to her name, Carole is a respected veteran of the standup comedy scene. In addition to numerous television appearances, Carole Montgomery has headlined clubs and colleges across the US and starred in two different Las Vegas production shows. In her ten years as a LAS VEGAS STAR, she was seen by over five million audience members. Carole Montgomery created and stars in three SHOWTIME specials for Funny Women Of A Certain Age.
Vicky Kuperman has been seen on Live From Gotham, Nickelodeon, The Maxim comedy Showcase and heard regularly on SiriusXM. Her comedy albums Love's a Joke, When I Could Feel, All Good! and Three's Comedy are in regular rotation on SiriusXM, and her book How to Spy on Your Neighbor was top 10 in political-humor on Amazon. She's the co-founder of the Love's a Joke tour, in which America's top comedy couples (married, divorced, cheating, what have you) perform around the country. She founded it with her husband but she does most of the work because she's the woman.
Julia Scotti has been busy. Along with performing stand‑up nationwide, she stars in the critically acclaimed documentary Julia Scotti: Funny That Way and continues breaking barriers, proving that age isn’t just a number—it’s an asset. She appears in the groundbreaking 2022 film Bros with Billy Eichner and starred in the short film Relatable Joy, playing—of course—a comedian.
