Dr. Jason Slot presents some of the major events in earth history and human history involving fungi. Dr. Slot is a Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at Ohio State University. His areas of expertise include fungal evolutionary genomics, chemical and molecular ecology, and metabolism and transportomics. He earned a Ph.D. from Clark University, focusing on the molecular evolution of nitrate assimilation mechanisms in fungi.
