FUNGI of the NORTH WOODS: 2026 Keweenaw Natural History seminars presented by the Carnegie Museum and the Keweenaw Land Trust (KLT)For this year's seminars, we have again teamed up with the Keweenaw Land Trust and created a series of seminars about Keweenaw fungi. Our second seminar will be a panel discussion about fungi in popular culture including literature with Michigan Tech Humanities professors Dr. Andrew Fiss, Dr. Laura Fiss, and Dr. Mark Louniboss.
Other seminars include a cooking with mushrooms talk and demonstration (June 9); ID walk and talk (late September); and fungi as a creative art medium (late October).
