Our first fundraising event for the Richmond Renaissance Faire: A Multi Cultural Exploration of the Artisan Ages will take place at Gallery5 on First Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5PM-11PM. This is a free event. Donations are encouraged through the ticket link.
Fundraising events will continue throughout 2025 as we prepare for our official multi-day festival in 2026.
The Richmond Renaissance Faire is presented by Virago Alley, NFP in partnership with The Richmond Moon Market.
Our mission at Virago Alley is to provide an accessible and inclusive platform for the exploration, education and preservation of historical martial arts and artisan trades. Learn more at www.viragoalley.org
This inaugural year will serve as our fundraising year. Single day events will take place at various locations around Richmond to allow us to get our feet wet before we expand to larger fields. We are spending this first year to build relationships with local artisans, create formats for live demonstrations by local martial arts guilds, grow our team of partners and gauge the level of interest and community support before we spread our wings.
