Help Coach Bo grow the Kari McBride Student Athlete Scholarship Fund. The first scholarship was awarded in the Fall of 2021 to a Class of 2025 student-athlete who plays two sports! Coach Bo and his wife, Barb, generously award an incoming freshman student-athlete this scholarship every year.
Over his years of teaching and coaching, Coach Bo grew to embrace the Catholic High community and its mission, and as he was retiring, he wanted to give something back to the school. He wanted to do something to honor both the student and the athlete. Coach Bo and his wife, Barb, decided to establish a scholarship that would be awarded to an incoming freshman who plays at least two sports and is a student in good standing. Over the past 20 years, the one name that is synonymous with athletics at Catholic High is Kari McBride. Her dedication, excitement, and commitment that she brings on a daily basis is simply quite remarkable. Whether on the sidelines at a game or running field day or a pep rally in the gym, she brings an energy that makes everything more exciting. It is for these reasons that Coach Bo and Barb decided to name the scholarship, the Kari McBride Student-Athlete Scholarship.
Please join us at Looney's Pub - Perry Hall on Thursday, May 28, 2026 to raise funds for the scholarship! Looney's is donating a percentage back on each check who presents the flyer (digital is okay).
Stop by between 4:00 and 10:00 p.m. to catch up with old teammates and enjoy some good food and drinks! Help make this fundraiser a huge success! Family and friends of all Catholic High student athletes are welcome to attend.
