We will be Hosting a Fundraiser on March 31st at the Chestnut Grove Food Court in Downtown Bastrop to HELP raise funds for a little girl named Harlow who has unfortunately been battling Cancer. Harlow Goetze is a bright, vibrant, brilliant, creative, caring 9 year old little girl. After months of doctors visits for mystery ailments, Goetze family received the devastating news that Harlow has leukemia. Although this is earth shattering news, her family has been by her side every step of the way. They are no stranger to how awful fighting cancer can be, as Missy (Harlow’s Mom) has had her own battle with breast cancer. Harlow, her dad Andrew & big sister Cohen have all been with Missy, by her side during her journey. Harlow is surrounded with such overwhelming love and support from her family. They moved to the Bastrop community before Harlow began getting sick which she attended Mina Elementary and Although they hadn’t been here long, they’ve made such an impact already. She is also one of my daughter’s classmates so this hits very close to home for me. Some of The Food Trucks at the Food Court as well as many other Restaurants and Local Businesses have already started to Donate items, services and food for a raffle that will be held the night of the Fundraiser! We will be Serving up Special Plates of Delicious BBQ on a Donation only base that evening woth 100% going to the Family. With Options for Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, Seed oil Free and of course those that Love it all, we will have something for everyone! More details to come soon but I wanted to start spreading the word now.
