Join us for an evening of talks, demonstration and a taster 30 minute Gong Bath (seated or lying down - whichever is most comfortable for you).
A chance to learn a brief history of the gongs, the different types available and how gongs, and other instruments can be used for therapeutic purposes. Watch a demonstration of 6 different large Paiste gongs being played, relax as you listen to the different sounds and experience the soothing vibrations.
Have a little go yourself, if you feel brave enough! We will then have a short break for tea and biscuits.
Finish the evening with a relaxing taster Gong Bath (approx 30 minutes). Choose to remain seated or pre-book an air bed/blanket to lie down. (spaces are limited to 20 lying down, so please select at time of booking.)
£10 pp - 100% of ticket/refreshment sales go to ongoing refurbishment projects to keep the hall the safe, warm and welcoming space that it is for everyone who uses it, and for future generations to come.

While I aim to be as inclusive as possible, gong sound baths are not usually recommended for anyone with a pacemaker, Meniere's, 1st trimester of pregnancy, in recovery from recent surgery or fractures. Over 18s event (14-17 yrs old with an accompanying adult).
