Join us for a beginner-friendly watercolor workshop hosted by CAVA and taught by Amanda Clarke-Peterson.
This class is designed for adults with little or no watercolor experience. Instead of focusing on a finished painting, students will build a strong foundation by exploring how watercolor behaves on paper.
We will work through essential beginner techniques such as learning about the materials, paint properties, transparency over line, dry-into-dry, wet-into-dry methods. Students will practice techniques during this class to prepare for Part 2 of the class where we will get into wet-into-wet techniques and using common household items to create interest and texture.
