Gain confidence and get your horsemanship journey back on track! This clinic is for ANYONE needing help with anything from trail riding, and arena work to advanced maneuvers and everything in-between. Any and all disciplines welcome!
In this 2-day clinic, we will cover all the fundamentals, groundwork, and riding exercises of the Downunder Horsemanship Method. We will do groundwork in the morning, break for lunch, and ride in the afternoon each day. This clinic will help you gain confidence and control both on the ground and under saddle. Your horse will learn not only how to be respectful, but also to relax and use the thinking side of their brain.
We will work on Yield The Hindquarters, Desensitizing, Lunging for Respect, Backing, Flexing, Yield the Forequarters, Sending, One-Rein Stops, Cruising Lesson, Follow The Fence, Yield the Hindquarters Under Saddle, Vertical Flexion, and more!
We will also cover issues with trailering, saddling, bridling, standing still to be mounted, issues with the farrier, and more!
You will need a rope halter, snaffle bit, long loop reins, and proof of current negative coggins. Stick and string recommended but not required.
- Clinic will be from 9am-5pm each day.
- A few stalls are available 1st come 1st serve.
- Limited to 8 people.
- Cost is $300 for the weekend with a non-refundable deposit of $200 to hold your spot.
