FUNd Run 5K for $5K for Nella Casa Ruth

Whether you’re running, walking, or spectating, come join us for a day filled with fun, friends, food and fitness on Saturday, May 9th to raise money for Nella Casa Ruth (NCR). NCR is a safe house in Italy that serves as a long-term shelter and recovery program for survivors of sexual exploitation and vulnerable women at risk of trafficking. NCR has opened a second safe house since our 5K fundraiser last year and they are in need of $5,000 to cover the overhead expenses.

All event costs have been donated so that the entirety of your registration "fee" will go to the two NCR safe houses.

Participate in 3 easy steps!

1. Please register for the event using this Eventbrite link so we know how many people to expect and how much food to prepare for our brunch
2. Donate to the safe house using the link below (Suggested donation: $30/adult & $10/kid)
3. Join us on May 9th for the 5K post-race coffee and delicious brunch to learn more about the Nella Casa Ruth Safe houses and celebrate Ruthi's birthday.

Every registration, donation, and step taken during this event will directly contribute to the safe house's current needs for educational fees, job training, and work formation.

Additional Details:

• There is plenty of free street parking on the north side of 19th Street and on the east and west sides of Albany Street)
• Bathrooms will be available at 3047 West 19th Street (Hannah Jacobson's home - Ruthi's sister)
• The course will consist of four loops in a section of Douglass Park, right across the street from the Jacobson's home.
• Kids, pets, runners/ walkers / sitters and strollers are welcome!
