Also known as Charlotte cabochons, these stones are generally smaller and more shallowly cut than many standard cabochons. Their distinctive shape and sparkle make them a beautiful choice for a piece of wearable jewelry.
In this class, you’ll learn techniques for setting a rose-cut cabochon and choose whether to feature your stone in a ring or pendant. All levels are welcome. Beginners can follow the project through guided steps, while returning students can refine their stone-setting technique.
Your instructor will be Kim St. Jean, Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist, who has more than 25 years of experience teaching jewelry making.
