Fun with Photography! All Skill Level Photography Workshop!

Tuesdays; January 6 and February 10, 2026

Every person has a different story to tell, and we want to see and hear your story! Through the use of disposable film cameras, we can share our experience and life! All artistic skill levels, experience levels and unique experiences welcome!

This program will be split into two sessions, which will be as follows:
January 6th 2026: In this first session we will introduce the program, with short presentations from our Youth Mentor, Social Work, Ability Awareness & Kids on the Block program representatives! We will then show our group how to use the cameras and discuss the type of story each of them want to tell.

Between our two sessions, the cameras must be dropped off at 779 Baseline by January 26th. This will ensure that the film is developed and our team can prepare the images into slideshows for each of our storytellers!

Feburary 10th 2026: In the second session, we will spend the first portion of time looking over our photos and discussing the type of story we can tell with them! After this, we will have a showcase period where everyone can share their story if they would like!

• Participate in self-expression activities to develop positive self-image
• Learn about photography and storytelling and apply concepts to their life
• Learn various creative practices that encourage self confidence and well-being
• Develop expression skills in a supportive & accessible environment
• Try out and learn about unique cameras and build photography skills

• TVCC clients ages 12-21
• Able to participate in group and engage in artistic expression with or without accommodations/support persons and at any skill level
• Able to use fine motor skills to progress film roll in camera, with or without accommodations/support persons
• Must be able to attend both sessions at 779 Base Line Road East, London, Ontario.
• Must be available to drop off cameras back at TVCC centre by January 26th
