Fun Palaces support local people to co-create their own cultural and community events, across the UK and worldwide, sharing and celebrating the genius in everyone.
On Saturday 4th October, join Brook Arts Hub and River Hope at Stratford-Upon-Avon Library to celebrate water, rivers and all their biodiversity with free, drop in activities for all ages. No booking required.
For families with children aged 4+ - "A river comes to life" - help create a water and river installation:
10am – 12pm: Lego – will you add a bridge over the river or a building on the bank?
12.30pm – 2.30pm: Riverscape creativity and crafts - imagine and create plants, fishes, water birds, animals, insects and invertebrates to bring the riverscape to life.
12:30 – 2:30pm: Listening Corner: readings of some poems and stories about water from around the world.
For all ages:
10am - 3pm: River Hope community photography and video installation.
