Alison Bechdel- 43, Lesbian cartoonist writing her autobiographical graphic novel
Bruce Bechdel- Mid 30s Mid 40s, Alison’s father, an English teacher, Funeral Director, and home restorer. Secretly gay.
Helen Bechdel- Mid 30s-40s Alison’s mother, an actress worn down by the years of her husbands secrets
Medium Alison- 18-20 Alison in her first few years at college. Recognizes and starts expressing her queerness.
Joan 18-22 Medium Alison’s first girlfriend.
Roy and Others- 17-25 various young men in Small/Medium Alison’s life
Small Alison- 9-12 Alison in her youth. Knows she is not the daughter her father wants her to be but she doesn’t know why.
Christian Bechdel- 8-12 Small Alison’s brother
John Bechdel- 6-9 Small Alison’s brother

Those who audition will be asked to cold read from the script.
Auditions are an open call for the whole season, you may chose to audition for multiple or select shows.
