Fun Fest's Trash Barrel Paint-In

The Trash Barrel Paint-In draws hundreds of people each year to the grounds of Allandale Mansion to create colorful and creative designs on barrels that are used to collect trash at Fun Fest and other events throughout the year. Participants need to bring water-based paint and any brushes, sponges, stencils, etc.
**Big changes are coming to the Trash Barrel Paint-In this year! In previous years, attendees had to bring spray paint to cover up last year’s artwork before starting their own. This year, thanks to a generous donation from the Sherwin-Williams Paint Co. and our Keep Kingsport Beautiful volunteers, all barrels will be painted white ahead of time, allowing attendees to start their own artwork as soon as they arrive at the Paint-In!
Each barrel you reserve costs $10 and can be reserved at the Fun Fest Store beginning on June 26.
Barrels can be submitted to be judged by age category, and prize. Judging begins around 11:30 a.m. and ribbons are awarded to the winners.
Food trucks will be on site.
In case of rain, July 15 will be the event date.
