Fun Family Event ! Celebrate U.S.A. 250th ! Model Rocket Launch !

Please join Elizabeth Bauer for IL House District 53 and ROWT at Sunset Meadows at 2 pm on Saturday, June 13th (rain date: June 27th) for a free family rocket launch to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.
Families are invited to bring their own rockets (preassembled or easy-to-assemble rockets are readily available at Hobby Lobby), or to press the “launch” button on a rocket we’ll provide. We’ll provide snacks and a “meet the candidate” opportunity with Elizabeth as well as Dave Mathis, State Senate candidate.
RSVPs strongly encouraged to ensure we have an appropriate headcount for supplies, set-up, snacks, etc. Please also check if you’re able to volunteer at the event, or if you have rockets or rocket supplies to share.
