Iftar & Night Art Walking Tour 🌙✨Celebrate Ramadan with Qahrawya on a special evening tour starting just before Iftar in the City of the Dead (Desert of the Mamluks).
This historic district flourished under the Mamluks and is home to some of Cairo’s most magnificent Islamic domes, minarets, mausoleums, and stone-carved facades. More than a cemetery, it’s a living landscape where monumental Islamic architecture, memory, and daily life exist side by side.
We’ll begin by exploring Mamluk monuments, visual art spaces, exhibitions, and local handicrafts—experiencing a dialogue between historic grandeur and contemporary creativity—then gather for a homemade Egyptian Iftar buffet in a unique setting.
