An adult (18+) workshop aimed at beginners or first time felters with tutor Natalie Harris (Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies.
This workshop is aimed at beginners and people new to needle felting.
In the morning (10.30-12:00) the basics of what type of wool and needles are best for sculpting will be explained and then you will use some basic techniques to make the base sculpt of your reindeer.
We will break for lunch and an opportunity to get some fresh air in the grounds at 12.00. We will then return at 13:00 to finish our reindeer and add the finer details such as adding facial features, long fur to the chest and a red nose if you would like to.
Booking is essential, £25 per person. Please note that lunch is not included. You may bring your own or there is an onsite cafe to purchase food from.
Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel and you will have to negotiate a flight of stairs to get to the meeting room.

Admission to Wightwick Manor is included and you may stay after the workshop has finished up until closing time.
