About this Event

Full Speed is a structured speed networking night for St. Pete entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals who'd rather leave with 20 real connections than 2 half-finished conversations.

The evening:

• 5:30 PM — Doors open. Check in, grab a seat, meet your first few people the old-fashioned way.
• 5:55 PM — Doors lock. Promptly. (See below — this one's real.)
• 6:00 PM — A 30-minute presentation from our sponsor, LegalShield: practical ways small business owners and families get quality legal help without the traditional hourly bill — contracts, collections, and the questions you didn't know you could ask a lawyer.
• 6:30 PM — Speed rounds begin. You'll rotate through fast, timed one-on-one conversations — who you are, what you do, who you're looking to meet — then on to the next connection. By 7:30 PM, you've met everyone in the room.

Come if you:

• Are growing a business and need clients, partners, or referral sources
• Are new to the St. Pete business scene and want to get plugged in fast
• Have a great 60-second pitch — or want the reps to build one

Bring: business cards (physical or digital), your best one-minute intro, and one specific ask ("I'm looking for…"). Specific asks get specific introductions.

About the locked door: This format only works if the room is complete when the presentation starts, so doors lock at 5:55 sharp and no one is admitted after — not latecomers, not friends, no exceptions. If you do get locked out, you won't leave empty-handed: Connect St. Pete will give you a free day pass to come back and experience the space. But plan to be early — the presentation and the connections are all inside.

About the room: Connect St. Pete is an open coworking community in the heart of St. Petersburg — desks, offices, and meeting space, but mostly people: founders, freelancers, and small teams who actually know each other's names. Arrive at 5:30 and take the mini-tour before we lock up. This is what the community feels like from the inside.
