This vinyasa yoga sequence is designed to embody the energy of the moon—meditative, transformative, and soulful. Immerse yourself in enchanting music and mantras to move, meditate, and celebrate with the moon 🌝 rising over the sea.

The Significance of the Full Moon in Yoga

In yoga tradition, the full moon holds special significance, regarded as a potent time for spiritual connections, introspection, release, and renewal. It offers an ideal opportunity to ground your energy, symbolizing a peak of illumination and vitality. The increased brightness of the full moon is thought to enhance our inner light and awareness, often leading to heightened vitality, receptivity, and strength. While this surge can invigorate our yoga practice, it may also bring emotional intensity and restlessness.

Grounding and Centering Your Energy

This practice aims to help you ground and center your energy through a slow-paced, calming flow that incorporates:

• Steady grounding and standing postures
• Gentle cool-down with seated and supine poses
• Breathwork
• Guided meditation & moon insights

Deeply Release

Allow yourself to let go of any burdens or attachments that no longer serve you, making way for new intentions.

Enjoy breathtaking ocean views as the full moon rises over the sea, accompanied by a refreshing sea breeze. Spend time by the shore, dip a toe in the ocean, and partake in a release ritual while basking in the moonlight shimmering on the water.

The instructor will demonstrate movements and provide verbal guidance, enhanced by a high-quality audio system, ensuring that everyone can easily follow along. There are ATMs located near the shops at NE 9th St, so allow time to stop there before class.

Plan for extra travel time to the beachside, park, check-in, and spend extra time on the beach. Event duration 90 minutes + personal time after class.

🎒WHAT TO BRING? :

BYO large beach towel or blanket for wider coverage over sand. No Yoga mat needed.*It gets chilly on the beach at night. Bring layers/cover-ups. A bag to keep all your items from getting lost in the sand. We will have AMBER* lighting on the beach during the event for turtle nesting season. If you're planning to stay afterward, BYO AMBER light or enjoy the moonlight.
